Your Voice Matters

Love it has started a series of powerful, thought-provoking, and sometimes controversial webinars, some which will inspire, some that will shock, some that will challenge the taboos and encourage your to try new things. Most inmportantly we will ask the questions that some many not want to ask. We will be the voice that matters, we will be your voice when you can’t speak and we ask you to come forward, because your voice matters.

The first webinar we had on 12 July 2021 was Reclaiming your Power.

Are you a rape survivor?
Know someone who was sexually traumatized? In a relationship with someone who is trying to heal from abuse and don’t know how to help them?
Or having to teach your children to have the relevant conversations to help prevent them from being abused.

The Handbag Project for Rape Survivors

The Handbag Project is an initiative by the Jes Foord Foundation and we will be supporting them going forward.

Every 25 seconds a woman or sadly a child is raped in SA.
Your donations will be appreciated by those in the hour of need.
The Handbag Project provides these bags to rape survivors. Unfortunately, 60% of their quota is for children under 12.
The handbags must each contain the following for children:
Panties or underpants
A pack of tissues
Soap and a clean new facecloth
Sanitary Pads
An A5 notebook and a pen
Crayons or colouring pencils and a colouring book
A teddy bear or small soft toy
For ladies:
Panties or underpants
A pack of tissues
Soap and a clean new facecloth
Sanitary Pads
Body lotion
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Shampoo & Conditioner
A note with words of care and comfort.
Please contact us if you can help with donations, even if it is just a toothbrush or something going into the bag, or the handbag. Email enquiries@loveit.org.za or call 074 777 7555
